All the walks here I have walked in the past year or so, therefore the information is up to date. The comments though are my personal view and anyone under taking one of these walks is doing so at their own risk, my recommendation is always to get the appropriate map and follow this whilst using the information supplied here as a guide.
To make it easier to find the walk most suitable for you I have divided the walks in to 5 different categories:

Fells over Longsleddale

Staveley & Potter Tarn

- Visit two tarns nestling in the bracken and heather
Grasmoor from Crummock Water
L107- A fine high level walk on the less popular side of the Lorton Valley
- Includes some excellent views of the western and southern fells.

Up Mickleden to Pike O’Stickle
L107- A lovely approach to the Langdale Pikes
- Changing views of the Langdale Valley

Dodd & the Allerdale Ramble
L106- Easy walking along the River Derwent
- Dodd is a steep climb with marvellous views
- Pass pretty villages of Millbeck & Applethwaite
A Caldbeck experience

Dock Tarn, Watendlath from Borrowdale

Keswick, Latrigg & the Old Railway

- Superb views from Latrigg in all directions
- Easy walking throughout on good paths
