Walk the Dales Way
“A fine walk of 81 miles following the river valleys/dales from Ilkley to Kendal”
For anyone attempting their first multi day walk the Dales Way is ideal. Aside from a remote section in the middle the Dales Way generally follows the valleys and dales on low level ground, is well sign posted and visits many of iconic sites and views of the Yorkshire Dales
For a fuller description of the Dales Way, including maps, please refer to our Long Distance Walks section which you will find by clicking here.
Although many walkers will have the confidence (and time) to organize the accommodation themselves, many will not. If you let us know the walking experience of your party and the type of accommodation you would ideally like (Bed & Breakfast, Inns, Country Houses, Bunk barns) we will put together a tailor mad package for you and book it as well. We can discuss with you how long it will take to complete the Dales Way for you and your party.
