- Comfortable cottage of great character
- Large garden with far reaching views
- Centre of popular village of Threlkeld
Blease Garth is situated in the popular village of Threlkeld and sits on the slopes of Blencathra (sometimes referred to as Saddleback). There are many walks from the door and the village boasts two excellent traditional inns, a post office and paper shop. The cottage itself has enormous character with old beams and doors, a wood burning stove and a recently built sun room. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom with shower over bath. Out the back there is a large garden bounded by a dry stone wall with wonderful views over Blencathra, over the village and down the valley. Dogs welcome.
Weeks still available: 26 May, 23 June, 7/14/21 July, All August & September, Xmas & New Year.
Nearby Walks:
Blencathra The classic route over Halls Fell is best done from the door of the cottage
Above Threlkeld A short walk skirting the lower slopes of Blencathra and ends in the pub
