The inn is full of character, being built at the beginning of the Victorian era and starting life as a Woolen Mill it has retained its charm and historical feel. The bar and restaurant offer a pleasant and relaxing end to a big day on the fells and with its prime situation amongst many of the best walking in the Lake District is a great midweek or weekend break for those wanting to enjoy the area.
