At the head of Littondale stands a large detached 19th century farmhouse which offers a wonderful holiday location for larger parties who wish to explore one of my favourite Yorkshire dales. This is Halton Hall which has been refurbished to a good standard but has also managed to retain many of its older features and character. Halton Gill is a small hamlet set high in the valley offering some excellent walks and from the doorstep, both easy or longer and more strenuous. Further down Littondale are the attractive small villages of Litton and Arncliffe before the dale is swallowed up by Wharfedale. Wharfedale is really the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with many attractive villages such as Kettlewell and Grassington, plenty to do whether you are a walker, a cyclist or just like looking!
4 Floors: Lower Ground Floor has a fully equipped kitchen with Aga, dining room, larder area and Utility room for drying. Ground Floor has 2 large lounges and shower room. First Floor has 4 bedrooms (family, 2 doubles and 1 twin) and a family bathroom. Second Floor has a further king sized double with spacious ensuite.
Extra Information: All fuel (including for the open fire), electricity, bed linen and towels provided. Travel cot & high chair, TV with freeview, DVD/CD. Parking for 4 cars. Pets welcome but under close control particularly during the lambing season.
