Swains Cottage lies in an idyllic location within the small hamlet of Halton Gill. The cottage comfortably sleep 4 in a twin and double room and has been refurbished to a high standard, combining wood and traditional stone in a sympathetic manner. The garden and views are spectacular all year with some great walking from the door with the idyllic setting completed by a small bubbling brook running alongside. Littondale is one of my favourite dales, pretty, tranquil with superb walking, but it is also very convenient to explore the main valley of Wharfedale, barely 6 miles away. Here you will find the traditional villages of Kettlewell and Grassington which lead down to the ‘Gateway of the Dales’ Skipton.
Twin and double (shower ensuite) bedrooms with a separate bathroom, fully equipped kitchen (includes dishwasher and washing machine) and a good sized lounge/dining area. Extra facilities include TV with freeview, a log burning stove (fuel included) and a selection of games & books. Boot room, garden and patio with furniture and barbecue, parking for 2 cars. Two pets welcome (dogs kept under strict control particularly around lambing time) and all linen and towels are included.
Swains Cottage can be easily combined with the larger Halton Gill to sleep up to 17 persons. Click here for details.
