Rowleth End Guest House

  • Stunning location and quiet setting;
  • Art Deco timepiece, yet relaxed and informal;
  • Quality evening meals – fully licensed too

If you are weary of stress and hectic living, and need to breathe new energy into body and soul, then come to Rowleth End.  Relax in style and comfort, yet with plenty of informality.
Rowleth End provides hospitality at its best. Its five guest bedrooms are individually styled with quality beds and period furniture. The evening menus feature the very best of local produce. Log fires; local real ales at the bar.
Our five guest bedrooms are all on the first floor; each one is incredibly quiet and offers: a supremely comfortable bed, stunning panoramic view, a spectacular bathroom, crisp cotton sheets and plenty of fluffy white towels
Our two “Classic” rooms have their own separate private spa bathrooms, each a couple of steps outside the bedroom door. Our two “Superior” rooms have traditional en-suite bathrooms with high-pressure showers and either a 6ft wide superking-sized bed, or twin bedded. Our “Luxury” room is very, very special, with a huge en-suite spa bathroom and lots more. Perfect for special occasions.
Availability can be accurately checked from our own web site.  Our automated online systems are updated every 2-3 minutes. They include all multi-night and last-minute discounts. Firm (confirmed) bookings can be made online at any time of the day or night.
At Rowleth End, we are passionate about food. Breakfast is a hot and cold buffet, with everything you would expect from a “full English”, and more. Porridge or kippers on request.
An evening meal is available every night of the week. On weekdays we offer a main course and dessert (with local cheese as an alternative) with home-made soup as a starter. On Fridays and Saturdays, we offer a more elaborate home-cooked meal with a set menu (more like a gourmet dinner party) with starter, main course, choice of desserts, local cheeseboard and coffee.
Please expect laundered white tablecloths, silver cutlery and candlelight, mixed with plenty of informality, and maybe an open fire too.
The wine list is carefully chosen to match excellence and individuality with value for money. The wines come from France, Italy, Lebanon, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Chile, Argentina, South Africa …..and YORKSHIRE!
And every guest is offered a free glass of Yorkshire wine before their first evening meal
