Croftside (for 4 people) and Croft Corner (for 2 people) are just one mile from Keswick on the fringe of Applethwaite village.

Both properties have their own heating systems and garden, wifi and on site parking. There is a shared laundry room with space to dry walking gear. Cycle storage is also available on request.

The owners mange and maintain the properties, it is always best to contact them direct.

The facilities of Keswick are on hand but you are away from the hustle and bustle of the town.  Walks from all the properties include Skiddaw, Latrigg, Dodd and Lonscale Fell as well as low level walks to neighbouring villages. There is a great variety of walks in the Borrowdale valley – including gentle walks around Derwentwater or ridge routes across the high fells.

Croftside: Sleeps 4. Croftside has magnificent views of the Borrowdale and northwestern fells, Skiddaw and Latrigg.  This cottage has the lounge and dining room/ kitchen on the first floor to take advantage of the panoramic views. There is a double bedroom and shower room on the ground floor and a twin bedroom and bathroom on the top floor.

Croft Corner: Sleeps 2. This cottage has a kitchen, lounge/dining room, double bedroom and bathroom. It is all on the ground floor and is often used by guests with limited mobility. Croft Corner has views over farmland to Skiddaw and Latrigg.
