Irton House Farm

April 15, 2014
  • 6 wonderfully situated cottages
  • Views across the northern fells
  • All cottages are spacious and on 1 floor

Irton House Farm has a spectacular setting in the Northern Lakes with views overlooking Bassenthwaite, Skiddaw and the beautiful, unspoilt walking country of the Northern fells. Despite the bustle and activity of Keswick and Cockermouth only a few miles away it is quite possible to take one of the many local walks without seeing a soul, even in the height of summer.

The farm itself has 6 cottages set around a central courtyard varying between 1,2 and 3 bedrooms. All welcome pets and have private parking as well as modern and comfortable facilities inside.

The owners are particularly proud to have received the Disabled Motoring UK Award in 2012 for Happy Holidays as they have set up the cottages to have easy access for all including those with mobility difficulties. Amongst other features the cottages are extremely spacious and open plan as well as having controlled heating and a levelled courtyard to enjoy the views.
