Littletown Farm Guest House

May 25, 2012
  • Superb location under Catbells and in the Newlands valley
  • High quality Guest House with bar and tea room
  • Lovely views of the surrounding fells from the bedrooms

Littletown Farm was the inspiration behind Beatrix Potter Mrs Tiggie Winkle stories but it is the splendid situation which now attracts the visitors. Nestling under Catbells in the beautiful Newlands Valley this whitewashed farm offers all that is so good and typical of the Lake District. The accommodation is of high quality, the breakfast wholesome and local, there is a small bar on site, a tea room which opens from April to October, wi-fi on site and packed lunches can be arranged on request.

However it is the views from the bedrooms and the easy access to some of the best fells in the Lake District which will be remembered; Catbells, Dale Head, Hindscarth and Maiden Moor are literally right on the doorstep.
