The Barn, Eskdale

December 1, 2014
  • Barn conversion with hot tub sleeping 14
  • Walks from the door for all standards
  • Breakfast included and near a pub

The Barn is a high quality conversion in a commanding situation at the head of Eskdale. Eskdale has many excellent walks (the best are described below), is great for cyclists and is the home of the narrow gauge Ravenglass railway. It is quieter than many of the other Lakeland valleys and is the better for it.

The Barn itself has 6 bedrooms and is ideally set up for a weekend get together. Continental breakfast is provided and a full breakfast can be had at the nearby King George IV Inn. As well as the usual furnishing and kitchen fittings the Barn boasts its own hot tub, 52″ plasma TV with Sky Multi Room, wood burning stove and a Wii… all of which are still surpassed by the fine views of Eskdale from the large garden area.

6 bedrooms over 2 floors: 1 king size with ensuite, 5 double rooms, 2 singles and 2 extra  bathrooms. Pets welcome.
