There is direct access to the landing stage at Lodore which opens up a number of intriguing walking possibilities around the lake (see the walks listed below) all of which can visit in the comfort of your own hotel. Keswick is also close by (2 miles by boat, 1 and a half by road) offering all the facilities you may need when you are not out on the fells.
