The Mary Mount hotel is perfectly situated on the shores of Derwentwater with views over the lake on to Catbells and the surrounding fells. This Country House has been recently renovated to an excellent standard with an oak paneled bar, high quality restaurant and choice of well presented rooms. There is direct access to the landing stage at Lodore which opens up a number of intriguing walking possibilities around the lake (see the walks listed below) all of which can visit in the comfort of your own hotel. Keswick is also close by (2 miles by boat, 1 and a half by road) offering all the facilities you may need when you are not out on the fells.

There is a choice of bedrooms for all parties and dogs are welcome.

Catbells . One of the most popular small fells in the lakes but start from the lovely Newlands valley

Derwentwater via Walla Crag.  Visit some of the iconic sites of the Lake District including Surprise View and Ashness Bridge
