Summerhill

April 6, 2014
  • Situated in the centre of Sedbergh
  • Home made and local produce breakfast
  • High standards of comfort throughout

Summerhill stands in the centre of the attractive old town of Sedbergh, ideally situated to explore the Howgill Fells and close to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Summerhill has been lovingly modernised by the owners, Steve & Ali Bramall, who go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible.

The 3 bedrooms are full of character and offer the comfort you would expect with down and feather duvets and pillows, firm mattresses and dressing gowns from the Sedbergh business, Bath House. However it is the home made touches of the breakfast which makes Summerhill stand out; the Granola and bread are home made and there is usually fresh fruit from the garden, the eggs, sausages and bacon are all sourced locally.

We have had an amazing time staying at Summerhill – the food was excellent and all the better knowing that the raspberries and blackberries had just been picked from the garden and the bread was straight out of the oven. We’re B&B experts, having stayed at many over the years and this was just brilliant in every way.
