Swinside Lodge Hotel

November 24, 2011
  • Glorious setting with views over many Lakeland fells
  • A beautiful house with an award winning restaurant
  • Walks from the door to the fells or lakeside

Set in a picture postcard setting Swinside Lodge hotel is a beautiful old Georgian house with lovely gardens overlooking the nearby fells. Inside the house has been tastefully furnished, each bedroom has been individually presented to suit a variety of tastes whilst the award winning AA 2 rosette restaurant provides canapes, a 4 course meal (changes daily) which is locally sourced as much as possible. If the hotel is lovely, the setting is spectacular; near the shores of Derwentwater but with easy access in to the beautiful Newlands Valley and endless walking over Newlands fells, Catbells, Causey Pike and many many others.
