Inn at Whitewell

April 3, 2014
  • Character & quality in the Forest of Bowland
  • Choice of restaurant and well stocked bar
  • Wonderful setting above the River Hodder

The Inn at Whitewell sits high above the River Hodder with magnificent views over the river and the surrounding countryside. Lying in the heart of the Forest of Bowland with some excellent walks from the doorstep the Inn at Whitewell has successfully combined consistently high standards with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Old prints and paintings adorn the walls of the bedrooms, adding a great deal of character but it is the large, Victorian styled bathrooms for which the owners are particularly proud. There are 3 choices of places to eat; the bar, the restaurant and the private orangery room, whichever you choose the food will be of high standard as is the well stocked bar.

Dogs and children are welcome.
