Maypole Inn

April 3, 2014
  • Traditional inn of great character
  • Excellent food and a range of local/guest beers
  • Pennine Bridleway passes the front door

The Maypole Inn is a traditional village pub positioned in the Yorkshire Dales village of Long Preston, between the market towns of Skipton and Settle, offering accommodation, bed and breakfast and food all day. The rooms are all ensuite, have tea/coffee making facilities, wi fi and very comfortable.

The hotel is an ideal base for walking and touring holidays. Open moorland, hill slopes of the Pennines, caves and waterfalls are all within easy reach. Famous walks such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks and those around Malham are also close by.

In 1695 Ambrose Wigglesworth opened the doors of the Maypole Inn to his first paying customers. Over three hundred years later the joint traditions of hospitality and a warm welcome are still going strong.

Dogs Welcome.
