Tempest Arms, nr Skipton

April 4, 2014
  • A traditional country inn of great character
  • Lovely bar and restuarant serving food
  • Choose from 21 rooms & suites stay

Having eaten and stayed many times in the the Tempest Arms I can thoroughly endorse what is a lovely country inn with masses of character, much of it resulting from its old beams and roaring fire set in the centre of the bar area. It is situated in the the small hamlet of Elslack which is only 4 miles from Skipton ‘the gateway to the Dales’. The rooms are modern yet retaining the inn’s character, and all 21 are ensuite and of varying size and furnishing – some even have their own hot tub! The food is excellent and varies from ‘pub lunches’ to fine dining in the restaurant area. Put simply it is a great base to explore the area and a wonderful haven to return to.

Discounts available for large walking parties

Some of the rooms even have a hot tub, ideal after a day out on the hills
