Another book that came from the Where2walk selection, the Top 500 describes one man’s journey through 50 years climbing al the highest mountains in Britain and Ireland. A coffee table book full of excellent photographs, route descriptions and maps of the walks this is a worthy addition to any walker’s book collection.

Our dates are now available for these very popular 1 day courses. Running now for 5 years the aim is to ensure anyone who attends a course has more confidence, safer and is better equipped to push a bit further. Held in the village of Long Preston the courses are for Beginners or Intermediates, £55 for the day.

Brand new weekend training for walkers who wish to develop their map and compass skills with the ultimate goal to climb one of the 2,000 foot mountains in the area. A course with a purpose! Held in Mallerstang in the lovely and unspoilt Cumbrian Dales the weekends include 2 nights in the local country pub!
For any group who want to experience the outdoors but have never had the confidence to go further than the garden gate. Hire an experienced and knowledgeable guide for the day and they will take the group/individuals to somewhere they could never have gone on their own.

We book self guided walking holidays. The holidays usually move from place to place to give a full understanding of the area and we will book the accommodation, move the bags and provide a route with maps for the walk (planned around your own level of walking).
