In my view one of the greatest satisfaction in walking is to have a real goal, a challenge that really pushes you beyond the norm. This may well be a difficult day walk but is more likely to involve many days/weeks/years of dedication. It took me 20 years to complete the Munros! The Walking Challenges that I have listed are ones that I have been involved in so I therefore have a better knowledge and understanding of. I have (where appropriate) included unedited personal experiences which are much for my own benefit and memories but will also hopefully bring a real feel to what each challenge is about. In this section
