There are over 500 individual walks on this website and they form the basis of the website.  There are also Long Distance Walks, Overseas Walks and Walking Challenges. Just look for them under ‘Our Walks‘. As well as planning what I believe is the best route I have taken the photographs, designed the maps, written the description and even discovered the joys of plotting a GPS route! It has been a real labour of love.

The walks form the basis for the website but we also offer the following services:

  • Self Guided Walking Holidays
  • Map & Compass Courses (1 and 2 day)
  • Hire a Guide for the day
  • A Walkers Shop including my own book, The Dales 30.

    Walking with Mist

    Winter Traumas 20 December 2017

Mist I am sure prefers winter walking to summer. She does enjoy the snow (limited though it is) but also is completely unconcerned about a long muddy walk in the hills and valleys. This is a good job as one of the ‘tasks’ pre Christmas was to walk the Bracken Way, it might not mention it in the notes, but it can be a mite squelchy!
