Dallowgill is a hidden gem of moorland and riverside walking almost midway between Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, Ripon, Harrogate and Masham. At it heart of this peaceful region is the Moorhouse Guest House . The Moorhouse is a traditional country house built in mellow York Stone and has been the favourite haunt of those in the know for many years, including Bing Crosby.

The house has been recently renovated and now boasts 5 beautiful ensuite bedrooms (baths and showers)  named after areas of nearby moorland. A tasty breakfast is included in the price and it is possible to pre order afternoon tea and dinner (the house is licensed) and there is ample parking, a drying room and wonderful walking from the door.
