Scale Hill Cottages lie in the heart of the Lorton Valley and near the 3 beautiful lakes of Buttermere, Crummock & Loweswater. The group of 6 cottages are set beside a cobbled courtyard with a large shared garden area (hot tub) and outstanding views of the nearby mountains and countryside. Some of the best Lake District walking is on the doorstep with the High Stile Range, Grasmoor and Wainwright’s favourite fell,

Haystacks close by and one of my favourites Mellbreak easily climbed from the cottages. For those who want more leisurely walks the 3 lakes offer many low level opportunities but whatever you choose you will be returning to a very welcoming and comfortable cottage. A perfect holiday choice. 1 Dog accepted in 3 cottages.
