“An arrow through the heart of the spectacular Lake District”
Δ
The Cumbria Way passes south to north through the heart of the Lake District visiting Coniston, Langdale, Borrowdale, Keswick & Caldbeck. However it will be the peaceful moments which will live long in the memory. Beacon Tarn is a little gem, as is Little Langdale early in the walk whilst Langstrath is a hidden valley rarely visited and all the better for it! There are always opportunities to climb a few fells on the way.

Typical 5 Days Walking/6 nights Itinerary
It is perfectly possible to combine days 3 and 4 and complete the Cumbria Way in 5 days.
You may have to be a little flexible on the start date due to the availability of accommodation. In some places (Langdale, Borrowdale) it can be difficult getting 1 night stays over the weekend. Therefore we may have to change your start date by a day or so either side.
As a rule we do not book holidays for single travellers. It becomes very expensive as most accommodation do not offer reductions or single travellers.
We do accept parties with dogs (we have them ourselves) but it may limit the choice of accommodation
