Description

The Bracken Way Walking Holiday includes visits to Malham Cove, Aysgarth and Hardraw Falls, Askrigg (where James Herriot was filmed), Dent, Ingleton Falls and many more special places. This is an increasingly popular long distance walk which passes through 6 major Dales and includes the option of visiting a 7th (Swaledale).

The Bracken Way was named after my old dog (a border collie called Bracken) who accompanied me on the first time I completed the trail. She enjoyed it as much as me!

You may have to be a little flexible on the start date due to the availability of accommodation. In some places (Malham, Dent) it can be difficult getting 1 night stays over the weekend. Therefore we may have to change your start date by a day or so either side.

As a rule we do not book holidays for single travellers. It becomes very expensive as most accommodation do not offer reductions or single travellers.

We do accept parties with dogs (we have them ourselves) but it may limit the choice of accommodation.
