The Mountain Skills course is suitable for those who want to gain confidence in the higher mountains of Britain.

It may be that you want to progress from the ‘tamer’ areas of Britain (such as the Dales or the Peaks) or have always loved the mountains but need the skills to go further with confidence and the suitable skills.

It is not for those who have no map and compass skills and a good level of fitness is required.

Keswick, Lake District

The walks will be on and around Skiddaw and Blencathra to the north of Keswick
