The Kentmere Round The Kentmere Round is a long distance horseshoe that includes seven Wainwright fells. Raise, Helvellyn and Striding Edge Helvellyn and Striding Edge is one of the must do walks in the Lake District but a return by the more rounded Raise adds much to the day and is a relaxed way to descend. High Stile over Buttermere The High Stile ridge walk is definitely one of the tougher walks in the Lake District. The mileage is not big but the steep climb and rough, rocky paths make for a satisfying day . Wastwater Screes The views when you walk on the ridge above the Wastwater Screes are some of the best in the lakes. Two Wainwrights sit astride the wide ridge. The Coniston Round The Coniston Round includes a number of Wainwright Fells. How many depends on how many detours you make. Dovedale Round Often ignored for Helvellyn the Dovedale Round is an excellent walk up a long grassy ridge. Returning via a shorter ridge and the banks of Brothers Water. Mickleden to Pike O’Stickle From Langdale head up the Mickleden valley to Pike O’Stickle.
