Cumbrian Pennines

The River Eden runs through a lovely stretch of quiet and remote countryside. It is flanked on one side by the high moorlands of the Pennines and on the other by the more distant views of the Lake District. It all makes for an excellent area to walk in.

Choose between short riverside strolls or higher moorland walking and discover some real undiscovered gems; High Cup Nick, Mallerstang and Ashgill Force to name but 3. Some people will never bring themselves to leave the Lake District but it is those that do that are most rewarded
